When working a doll, it is important to speak to or pray about the doll in the third person, using the name of the person he or she has been made to represent.
Call the doll's name three times to wake the spirit inside when you begin working.
Feed the doll with oils appropriate to it's intent by rubbing those oils over the appropriate areas of it's body. Massage the oil in gently to bring the results in most effectively.
Bless the doll with an intent that corresponds to it's purpose by praying over it and waving it gently through smoke three times. Rest the doll on ingredients that relate to the work you are doing.
Do what you want to happen to the person in the physical world on a small or symbolic scale to the doll.
Dolls can be used extremely creatively. Play with your rituals. Always be gentle and respectful towards dolls unless they are specifically designed for negative work.
